What are Science & Cinema Movie Nights?
We designed these Science & Cinema movie nights to give parents break time for a date night, shopping without the kids, or just quiet time at home. Each movie night is from 6:30-9pm and only costs $20. That includes a themed STEM activity, a movie on our indoor projector screen, fun socialization, AND dinner, snack, and dessert. Our teachers make sure everyone is learning some awesome science, having fun, and being safe. Space is very limited, so please register early. To register, fill out the form and then pay via Venmo or check.

Date: Friday, May 23rd from 6:30-9pm
Movie: Trolls!
STEM Activity: We will be making Lava Lamps! (These are not hot. The are made using oil, water, food coloring, and alkaline seltzer tabs. We teach the science concepts of density and chemical reactions that cause bubbles. Oh, and they GLOW under blacklight! This experiment is totally safe and very fun, but MIGHT be a little messy, so please wear clothing that can get messy)
Food: We will serve cheese pizza, lemonade, water, pirate's booty, and chocolate chip/sugar cookies.
Cost: $20 (includes food and materials)
Bring: Some of our students like to come to movie nights wearing PJs, with a throw blanket, or bring their favorite stuffie. Feel free to bring your comfort items, or just bring yourself!
Notes: Space is very limited, so please register early. Please indicate at registration if your child has any allergies. We are very aware of allergies, medical and emotional needs, etc., and are willing to do whatever we can to support your child and make sure they have a positive learning experience.

Movie: The Lego Movie
STEM Activity: We will be doing Lego Engineering challenges! These are fun, stress free building challenges. We will build bridges that hold weight, mini Lego ziplines, and funny minifig combos.
Food: We will serve cheese pizza, lemonade, water, pirate's booty, and chocolate chip/sugar cookies.
